The executive director of the “Ulaanbaatar Development Corporation” JSC, Mr. Sandagsuren Jigjidsuren, met with Mr. Remir Mukumov, an international consultant of the Asian Development Bank. Some representatives of the PPP center of Mongolia and UBDC JSC have also joined in the meeting.

Mr. Remir Mukunov has a wide variety of experience in PPP project implementation by working as a consultant on more than 80 projects in 18 countries, including Uzbekistan and Georgia. He emphasized that a favorable legal environment for PPP, support of the International Financial Institutions through assisting international PPP experts, and strong political will for PPP are main success factors in those countries.

During the meeting, important ideas are shared among the participants about what can be learned from those successful PPP cases for the Ulaanbaatar City projects.
